This show, we sit down with Evan Marc aka Bluetech to talk about his new dub techo/tech house release Emotional Ecology out on PsyBooty Records, other recent projects, and becoming a ubiquitous force in the underground music scene.

This episode we feature music from the three digital-only releases by ambient pioneer Robert Rich.  These releases were recorded at two concerts in San Francisco produced by Dub Beautiful Collective.  Each set gives the listener a taste from most phases of Rich’s 20+ year recording career, and feature performances of effected steel guitar, bansuri, and a 12 minute improvised piano solo by Rich the likes of which have never been released.

Booka Shade, aka Arno & Walter, took a few minutes of their time to sit down and talk with Halon before their sound check at San Francisco's Mezzanine. They talked about their label Get Physical, how Booka Shade has grown and what drives them both as producers and as performers.

West Coast based, The Seedling Escape, is made up by Kitty-D and Ooah.  Kitty-D hails from LA and Ooah lives in San Francisco.  These two gentlemen are tearing up dancefloors all over the US and have recently released their first album "Photosynthesis".   Their cutting edge style sits deep in the Glitch-Hop genre and is well worth delving into.

While swinging through the Bay Area, French artist Dataspirit took the time to join us at Cedub Studio to lay down an amazing laptop set.  Mixing seamlessly through atmospheric drum and bass to tech-house his 27 minute set is a great representation of his producing abilities.

San Francisco based, Psybooty Records, was was founded in 2002 by partners David Justin and Amy Harris.  The label hosts a roster of talented DJs and Live Artists who perform regularly in the States and internationally.  While PsyBooty releases feature well-known international artists, A&R head, David Justin, puts great effort and emphasis on discovering and breaking new talent.  This week we feature three tracks off an assortment of Psybooty releases and are excited to have them as part of the Fake Science family!
